A rather interesting resource… local historical events indexed

This is an interesting one…  a local newspapers and events index covering the period of the 1830’s to the 1950’s.  6 Halifax newspapers have been indexed and the newspapers themselves can be viewed here in Local Studies (and you can use our lovely state of the art digital scanners to either print or save to a USB device!). This of course would not have been possible without volunteers…
